Islam Slimani (born June 18, 1988) is an Algerian football player. He is currently playing for CR Belouizdad in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1.

On May 17, 2009, Slimani signed a two year contract with CR Belouizdad, joining them on a transfer from JSM Chéraga.[1] The price of the transfer was 800,000 Algerian dinars.
On May 17, 2011, Slimani scored four goals in a league game against JS Kabylie, leading CR Belouizdad to an impressive 7-1 win.[2]
In October 29, 2009, Slimani was called up for the first time to the Algerian A' National Team for a week long training camp in Algiers.[3]
On March 9, 2010, Slimani was called up again by Abdelhak Benchikha to the Algerian A' National Team, this time for a 2011 African Nations Championship qualifier against Libya.[4] Slimani was called up to replace his injured CR Belouizdad teammate Youcef Saïbi. However, Slimani did not play in the game as Algeria won 1-0.[5]
